John R. Arnold, London, Silver pocket watch in consular case with Duplex-escapement, from 1810!

Outstanding pocket watch in original wooden box from one of the most famous makers in watchmaking history! John Arnold and his son John Roger Arnold are together with Thomas Earnshaw the inventors of the spring detent escapement! Watches from one of these icons of watchmaking are very expensive!

This is an early watch from John Roger Arnold with Duplex escapement! This watch was made around 1810.

Excellent completely serviced condition! Case diameter 58mm, 152 grams! Perfect original enamel dial!!! Poker and beetle hands. All functions work like they should!

There is a paper label on the wooden box from Greenwich observatory with a date 1915!! We assume that these precision watch and other watches were used in 2nd world war for military purposes.
