Joseph White & Son, Coventry and London, silver openface lever watch with 6 minute carousel / flying tourbillon

This is one of the extremely rare carousel watches with a 6 minute rotation. This rotation time is much closer to a tourbillon than to a carousel, which has a rotation/revolving time of 52,5 minutes usually. (See link „Christies“ at the bottom of this description!)

This watch was made by J. White for his Brazil Agent D. Norris.

The heavy silver case has gold hinges and is stamped with London date letter for 1909. Casemaker WB, off-white Willis dial. The movement in finest quality with screwed gold chatons and diamond endstone.
