Leroy & Cie., Paris, Chronograph with 30-Minute-register, 18 ct., 20ies, Art deco era!

The traditional famous Paris watch manufacturer Le Roy & Fils (later Leroy & Cie) is well know among collectors for high quality pocket watches and marine chronometers. Leon Leroy was appointed „Horloger de la Marine“ in 1906 and in the same year „Knight of the legion of honor“. The company was located at: Palais Royale, Blvd. de la Madeleine, and later Faubourg, St. Honore.
This outstanding chronograph was manufactured in the 20ies. The engine turned dial with enameled numbers and blued Breguet-hands is of highest quality.
Heavy 18 ct gold case with snap back and enameled monogram (later engraving 1972?) 50mm diameter, 78grams, just 8mm high, very solid in contemporary stile (Art Deco)
High end chronograph movement, finely finished, 30 minute-counter
