Leroy & Cie, Paris, Chronograph with 60-Minute register, 18 ct,. 20ies, in perfect condition

The traditional famous Paris watch manufacturer Le Roy & Fils (later Leroy & Cie) is well know among collectors for high quality pocket watches and marine chronometers. Leon Leroy was appointed „Horloger de la Marine“ in 1906 and in the same year „Knight of the legion of honor“. The company was located at: Palais Royale, Blvd. de la Madeleine, and later Faubourg, St. Honore.
This chronograph with a 60-Minute counter appears in pristine condition! This watch was tested at Besancon observatory and achieved 205 points, 1. class!
Engine turned gilded dial with enameled indexes and blued Breguet hands, 60 Minute-counter.
Heavy flat smooth contemporary yellow gold case in perfect condition. Companies address and reference to the observatory contest on the dust cover!
